I made a resolution that today’s post would not link to a comic or discuss Watchmen in any way. So. I’m batting .500, is how I look at it.

I guess it’s finally time for me to address the issue that’s been sending shockwaves through my flist recently–in fact, through the entire internet: the presence of “99 Luftballons” on the Watchmen soundtrack.

People die. Nations die. But Watchmen jokes go on forever. (Or at least for the rest of the weekend.) [edited to add: the whole Ombudsmen! run on one page here.]
